A bit more about Faoud (you can find Laura's Bio: HERE):
Fouad Hammoud is an Egyptian illustrator based in London.
Working by day in the creative advertising industry as a Creative Director, Fouad is an illustrator by passion, who enjoys drawing intricate details of cities and landscapes. Before that, Fouad focused his work on surreal illustrations made of flowing patterns and detail, always attempting to tell a story.
Through art, Fouad finds a sense of calm and a therapeutic release with his drawings. Spending nights drawing intricate details became a form of relaxation and reflection; a space where his creative flow can happen without interruption in order to allow a conscious-free self exploration.
This self-taught practice is something Fouad now wants to share, alongside the reflective powers of meditation.
