Join us at the beautiful Mat Sanctuary, hidden in lush London gardens, to experience music, breathwork, gongs, and other instruments to relax and restore both your mind and body

The sound and vibrations created from the gong can help centre the mind, calm the nervous system, and restore vitality to the body.

Let the sound take you places and open up the mind and soul.

Or just lie back and relax and take a moment to your self before the start of a busy December.

Everyone is welcome - experienced meditators and those curious to try a gong bath for the first time. The beauty of a gong bath meditation is that anyone can enjoy it, no experience necessary.

Here are a few suggestions for what to bring:

• A  warm jumper

• Warm Socks

Everything esle will be provide for your comfort.

This session will be led by Mark Smallman. Mark has always been interested in the ability of music and sound to calm the mind. When he had his first gong bath, he was blown away by the way the instrument induced effortless meditation. Inspired by a quote from the late DJ Andrew Weatherall who said ‘you’re never going to have that feeling of hearing a record for the first time again, but if you look into the eyes of someone who’s hearing it for the first time... it’s the next best feeling’, he’s keen to share the positive energy of the gong with people who have not already encountered it. You can follow Mark on Instagram here: Mark on Insta

IMPORTANT NOTE: Gong baths are not suitable for anyone with a pacemaker, anyone who suffers from fits (epileptics), or anyone who is extremely sensitive to sound. They are also not recommended for women in the first trimester of pregnancy due to the unstable nature of pregnancy during that time. If you wear a hearing aid, your device should be turned off during the session. If you have any concerns, please speak with your doctor in advance.
