About the Event
I have been trying to bring Bali to London by building The Mat Sanctuary, (even though it currently looks more like a shed in Iceland) and I now offer to bring a little of Buddhist calm into your hectic London lives.
This workshop will take place Friday 24th Feb 10-12.
Followed with an option to stay for lunch till 13.00 to reflect and connect. You just bring a dish to share on the big table and I provide bits and bobs and drinks.
I have 10 spaces only.
What to expect:
- Looking at and trying different breathing techniques to experience first hand the different effect they have on our bodies and mind
- Learning the importance of breathing properly and how it can affect our mental and physical well being significantly and in a short time
- An introduction to meditation. Learning about the positive effects but mostly about how to try and make this work in our busy life styles
- We will try a guided meditation and a short silent meditation
What you will take away is; You will walk away feeling lighter, positive and calm with an array of new knowledge for a path to longevity that does not take you a large chunk out of your busy day.
